Our founder and Managing Director, Capt. Vijay Soman has the distinction of rising from Cadet to Director of Safety, Insurance and QMS, in a career spanning 43 years with Wallem Shipmanagement Ltd, Hong Kong. He holds a Master (FG) COC from India and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Insurance from World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden. He is a qualified Lead auditor for ISO 9001: 2008 system, Marine accident investigator and OPA 90 On Scene Commander. He has wide ranging “hands-on” experience as a casualty response and crisis team leader, as well as in loss prevention and risk management techniques.
We provide experiential learning from incidents handled by our founder.
